Daniel M. Perez received his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, one of the top five law schools in the United States. He has represented hundreds of clients in complex, challenging cases, winning millions of dollars in jury awards and settlements and successfully challenging laws that violated the United States Constitution.

He has written extensively and been published in newspapers such as The New York Times. Dan is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the National Lawyers Guild, and the Sussex County Bar Association. He serves on the Criminal Justice Act Panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, the United States District Courts of the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, the United States District Court of the District of New Jersey, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and the Court of Appeals of the State of New York.
